Imagine a Paladin that uses a Phoenix Shield (350-400% ED), a Fortitude Armor (300% ED), and a Last Wish Crystal Sword (LVL 17 Might 200% ED). That is ALOT of ED for a Zealer. With level 20 Fanatiscm, a Paladin would only need 15 IAS to reach the last Breakpoint for Zeal. He would have three different Auras; Fanat, Might, and Redemption. I think this biuld has some serious PvM potential. Anyone feel like writing up a guide? Cause I dont...

Why use Last Wish when you can use BoTD?

Ignore Target's Defense

Last Wish does have the crushing blow, but BoTD would do more damage. I can see why you'd want it for the Might, but I don't think Fant and Might stack, not positive though.

It's still a good idea.

I see, BoTD would probably work better. But how about throwing in a Dream helm. Level 15 Holy Shock would be nice, 1-648 Light Dmg.

Or just make a melee sorc with dream helm and phoenix shield:

max light mastery
max fire mastery
max enchante
max es
max tk

Ur mastery works with the lvl 15 holyshock and holyfire auras, should be doing about 60k damage using a beast weapon.

If you are right this Sorc would own. She would have so much life. Put the Beast in a septor, and make the shield with a Troll Nest. You would only need like 100 STR. Than max block, rest in vit and mana. Melee chars would die easy...

No, mastery does NOT work on auras, and newbie4lyfe, I was saying that fant will give you better ED because fant and might don't stack.

Test it on open. Make a magic helm with lvl 15holy shock aura, then put it on. Make sure u have zero points into lite mastery. Then max out lite mastery and come back and say i dont work. Cuz i would love for u to make urself look even stupider.

Verify this by showing a valid wepage such as Arreat Summit that agrees with you. Until then I am standing firm in my position, Mastery does NOT affect skills granted by items.

Being posted on Blizzhackers doesn't make it valid. No, I have not tested Holy Shock and sorceress mastery, but I know for a fact synergies do not affect skills granted by items, and masteries are basically synergies.
