loading 2 diablo2's at same time

Hi me and a buddy used to play back when the 1.09 patch was still out. We are just getting back into it now. I have some items that i want transfered but my buddie isnt on a whole lot. I know back in the 1.09 patch you could load 2 diablo2's so you could transfer. I was just wondering if in the 1.10 you can still open 2 windows?
If so where can i find the program?
