hoto out of battle hammer

Hi i found a 4s battle hammer to make hoto out of, but i never see people with battlehammer hotos, which im guessing theres a reason for. So would making my hoto out of a battlehammer lower its value ?

A Little off topic, but why on earth would you even think about making it in a war hammer? That's like making a BotD in a non-eth weapon.

Main reason people like me use a HoTo in a flail is because its really expensive to fix if it gets damaged, also the fact that, as mentioned previously, its light in strength to use. Just use it in a low strength weapon on switch, that way its not expensive to use, and repair.

its because you CANT make it out of a battle hammer, only maces, not hammers. maces are: mace, morning star, flail, and i dont think you can fit 4 runes in a morning star...

Well thanks for all the morons flaming me for asking a simple question. To answer those who said u cant make out of a hammer only a mace. Hammer says mace class on it, and i looked on www.diabloii.net, which I don't think said anything about it. So my apologies to all the superior beings who took their time for flaming me today, and thanks again for all the flames.

Hey, go to Arreat Summit, go to items, then runewords. Go down a bit... see this?

Body Armor = Any armor that is worn on your chest and not any type of other armor such as boots, helms, gloves, etc.
Helms = Any armor that is worn on the head, including helms, Barbarian Helms, Druid Pelts, and Circlets.
Shield = Any armor that can be used to block, including shields, Necromancer Shrunken Heads, and Paladin Shields.
Clubs = Club, Spiked Club, and Exceptional/Elite versions.
Hammers = War Hammer, Maul, Great Maul, and Exceptional/Elite versions.
Maces = Mace, Morning Star, Flail, and Exceptional/Elite versions. This does not include any other types of Maces.
Melee Weapons = Any weapon that isn't ranged such as a Sword or Hammer. A Bow or Crossbow is a ranged weapon. Sorceress Orbs are not considered Melee Weapons.
Missile Weapons = Bows and Crossbows
Weapons = Melee Weapons, Missile Weapons, Orbs
Scepters = Scepter, Grand Scepter, War Scepter, and Exceptional/Elite versions.
