How Can I Get MF items So I can Get Some Good Armor

Hi everyone. I have been having problems in getting good magical armor. Can any of you ultra-mega-awesome-diablo-2-masters give me some pointers on how to aquire some magic finding items that are actually good? I would of much help because I would like to go MF Hunting for a Griswold Set.

first things first... you need to realize that if your not godly at all right now, you wont manage to get the best mf set...you have to start low, then work you way up

my main way of doing things is this: when i get banned (like always) and start over, if i cant find any friends (there all banned too) then i go about making a blizzard sorc, if you need directions for that go to the tips and stratagies section, and find a good blizzard sorc build...or use the search button. secondly, while your making her, get a 3 socket crown (or helm of your choosing with diecent def) and socket it with P topaz's, you just got 70 something mf (cant remember exactly, i think 72) next, find some nagels , that will giv eyou anywhere from 25-30 mf depending on ur luck, i never run into anything weaker than a 25 so yeah... then find some rare boots w/ 20+ mf, then a goldwrap. and there, you just got a noob mf setup.

with this gear, do meph runs in hell, youll slowly start to aquire items, trade the ones you dont want for mf gear (if your lookin for mf gear and you find a vampgaze, then find bartucs, try to get a shako and p chancies or something)

make sure you know what the value of stuff is (if all else fails ask these forums)

also: if you cant find the noob gear. do meph runs anyways, mf helps, but you can find stuff off of him without any MF

after getting good items on your sorc, start doin hell pindle (i recommend pindlebot, but some will go against that as it may bann you)

what are nagels? I have like no clue. And I think I am in decent shape cause i have full sig and a headstriker battlesword.I just gotta know what nagels are

get a shitload of ptopaz, socket them with 4 socket armor. and when u find a jewel or charm, always pick it up. get a gull, they are cheap and provide 100 mf, chancies arent that cheap either, someone could give some to you for free if they are really low, or if the person is really nice. you could get mf boots anywhere, but i think i got mine when i was a n00b off anya. same with the ammy, you could find one or get one for free if you are lucky. do some meph, trade all you crap you dont need that you found, yeah.

Blizz Sorc: Well, for starters find a 3 socket helm. (Any type). 3 or 4 socket armor. (Gothic Plate+). Pick up ANY topazes you can, chipped, flawed, normal, flawless and perfect. Using the Cube and 3 of one type of topaz (I.E.- 3 chipped topaz) with nothing else in the cube besides them hit transmute. You will get the higher grade gem, get 3 of those and you get an even higher grade gem, you get ut, right?

Socketing the armor and helm with ONLY perfect topaz, you should get around 150+ MF.

Then doing NM Meph, Hell Andy, and Hell Meph, you should find the rest.

listen ... just find a friend .... u know ... a d2 friend... be good friends with him..... let m\him give u some of his mf gear ... since u know the guy ... then tell him that u will repay him when u are rich :P ..... i always do that when the ladder starts ... and it always works... and u also make new friends that way ...

Right, thats the best way to do it. Make some really good friends. Ask them if you can borrow their mf gear and mf for them and for you. I let one of my friends borrow all my mf gear and he's mf'in for me (too lazy right now) I ask for specific things, he gives it to me. He gets rich and I get what i want. When you get godly enough make new friends and do the same.

Dude u want to get some armor whit perfect topaz in it!! and have golve boots rings ammy weapons and sheilds that have it like alibaba and ryme shield get 2 socket sheild and put in this order into it shael then eth (rune) thats how i got my tal shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i also get pretty good barb stuff!!!!!!!!

you cant socket gloves boots, rings and ammys..

i dont think socketing tpazes and shit is worth tals...
