NOT HACKING! :D

alright, this part deals with little hacking, ok, not even that. a dummy would do this... so its not hacking, you know when you get too fast of a computer on too fast of an internet connection and youre too dumb to put the create/join game timer to a longer time so you dont get realmdowns, and failed to join on your bot? yea well im that dumb person. well, as most of you know, bnet smites you for this and will temporarly IP ban you. thats the "cannot connect to battlenet... check blah blah blah and suck our nuts we own you" message. all fine and dandy. its not like a realm down, restart and voila. its... wait a day(s) and get back on. for me at least, sometimes faster but in this case its been 8 hours and i kinda wanna get on, you know?
ANYWAYS getting to the point. anyone certified in cisco or know enough about networking to mask your ip, other than a conventional ip masker built for lan and mask your isps design. ip for your wan address? im year 1 cisco, and beginning year 2. so im still unsure of it. anyone out there older than 12 and know how to by pass this?

if this is in the wrong section because you think its... "hacking" move it. im looking for how to mask my wan ip.

for those concerned... wan ip is Wide Are Network vs lan which is only Local Area Network. not to be confused with my alias

many thanks

EDIT:
Well, after taking a look at that and actually thinking it through... that will beat the realm downs but not an ip ban.
explanation: an ip ban is your wan ip being ban (duh) so therefore the only way to get past an IP ban is to change/mask your ip. and that cant be done through the registry, but thanks for the tip on r/ds. much appriciated though

im not purposly trying to attack the servers. if you get too many failed to join, battlenet will assume youve been doing soemthing youre not suposed and they will ip ban you. an ip ban can last from 2 hours to 2 days. in this case, the bot will keep trying to reconnect. then when i want t oget on legitly im ip banned. im just trying to find out to mask my ip.....simple enough

ah well... if the bot is soo stupid to keep logging on once it has been refused once then then there's nothing to do xcept for waiting... n maybe checking the settings, there must be some "auto-reconnect" checkbox which u need to uncheck.

edit: bnet = shibal sekia

Socks4/5 proxies can be used to connect to BNet, that will bypass IP bans/Realm Downs.

you're going to have to expound on that a bit, socks4/5 proxies. listed 4 and 5 for the sockets will be used for ssl... somehow i doubt bnet is related to that.
