Hiya Kao... I did according to your stragety. I'm currently lvl 46 necro Nova.

I raised 20 Dagger/20 Nova and about 6 in corpse explosion.

Kao i have a question.

Which dagger do you recomend me using? And how about mana? how do i get it up? Currently i have about 130 mana and i have a hard time buying mana drinks all the time~!

Sounds like you are poor if you are having a hard time buying mana pots. If thats the case, go into baal run games and pick up magic exception/elite items... instat 350000 gold.

You shouldn't even be using dagger.... posion nova is your main skill, hence nova necro

use blackbogs for mid-lvl... helps some, and plus, flaming... you can stab things lol ^^

doesnt matter what dex is, the +AR from the psn dagger ups it anyway. Use SoJs/frostburns if you have a mana problem, of if your poor, 4 socket gothic with 4 pskulls or 4 psaphs. Always works for me.

Just use any wands with + nova skill or 2 + nec skill friend, and you have super mana pots to support you

If you *really* need mana, try finding or gambling for Bahumut Rings and amulets. They can go up to something around 120 mana each, and are damn useful. Get A blackbogs, get a Lidless, get a Peasent Crown, get a Vipermagi, get a pair of frosties, get an elitch (very cheap +1), get 2 mana rings, and slap on silkweaves for your level. You'll have a total of (+4 +1 +1 +1 +1) +8, which won't be alot considering you won't do much damage in the first place, but you can actually move the bar on monsters this time!

I SUGGEST you get a Defiance Mercenary. My merc in hell has like 8k Def, gets me up to about 6.7k and just rapes. He will also help your golem and skellies survive a *little* longer in hell.

E1: Wait...you said about 6 in CE. Don't you mean PE?

E2: You are not a killer. Just get a point into Lower Resist, and help the party out with LR / Amp + CE. You won't be doing much damage for PvM until you have much much better gear.

For Example:
My nec has this stuff, and can kill *not too fast, but moderately* in an 8 player hell baal game. Takes him about 15+ Novas with LR to kill the minions when no one is helping.

Shield: Um Homonculus (waiting for a 5/5)
Armor: Enigma Mage Plate
Gloves: Trangs
Belt: Arachnid
Boots: Marrows
Ring 1: SoJ
Ring 2: Raven (waiting for a SoJ)
Amulet: +2 / 18 Lit Res Rare (Waiting for Maras or a 20% FCR / 2 PB Skills crafted)
Weapon: 5/5 Facet 2/50/7/7 (perfect as far as I'm concerned) Death's Web.

Merc Gear:
Weapon: AmnHel Bonehew (only thing I have right now)
Armor: Lionheart Diamond Mail (waiting for a shaft)
Helm: 8/7/16 Gaze (waiting for a better one)

Stats:
1 Skelly Mages
1 Golem Mastery (1 more level for Summoned Resists then i'm done in this tree)
1 Clay Golem
1 Lower Resist
1 Bone Spirit
20 Bone Wall
20 PG/PE/PN

+2 P/B from inventory.

Total Nova Damage: ~6800. Not much, but with over -100 poison resist, it can do ALOT of damage.

Hell, even if you have 6500 mana it won't matter. You won't be doing enough damage, so "helping" with your nova is completly (yes, completly) useless. Just cast LR / Amp / CE and leech. It's your only thing you can do. And my nec has about 550 mana, and never runs out unless he tele's like...well...at least 40 times or so, or spams nova. Both which I do not do. 1 Nova is usually enough for me to do some damage.

A note with nova: when you spam nova, it DOES NOT, I REPEAT DOES NOT NOT NOT NOT NEVER EVER EVER NEVEREREREEVEEVERVER NOT NOT NOT STACK. IT DOES NOT STACK. SO DON'T SPAM NOVA. EVER.

To tell you honestly i think this char is gimped once again. I'm making another one. Hopefully i can get this one to be The One.

But Kao.... How can you get him to level from 10+ to 25's?? i don't have any method of attacking crits without the poison dagger. Nova i don't get to 30's right? Is there any way of attacking Mobs? I'm really confused at this building method. If I'm not taking too much of your time, could you briefly explain your building methods?

btw what you put on the boards is the guidelines of what it will be around level 90's right?

With the setup i'm going for, I need 1 more level (I need 89) to have everything I want done.

Also, you are gimped. Only 1 in CE, it's enough.

For leveling lower levels: 15 = Trist.

From 15-20 or so, get a Defiance Mercenary, and slap on a good damage weapon and just let him kil while you use Amp from Rocky Waste to Claw Viper Temple. He'll do enough damage, and if you have Life Tap, it'll make a world of difference for him later on.

I went from 15-20 in one full game - they were all doing Andy, and I started in a2 town and ran all the way (merc did ALL the killing) till they got to me. Voila, it's easy as hell to do it that way.

For Mobs, Amp the crowd, get a few kills (merc), drink a pot or two, and case CE (1 point still) to kill them. Oh, and don't use Poison Dagger. It's worthless.

Death's Web and Bramble...

If both are perfect Death's web will plus 50% poison,+2 skillsand Bramble will do the same.

By the way just do Nova once and wait till the poison's gone it won't stack so don't bother wasting mana
