Ok, some guides poppin up, so im gonna try my own.

Yup, this is a guide that i actually need help from all of you guys to make it really work. I've been playing around with zonfire's hero editor... and well, i think i might have a new idea for an assassin.

As we know from the WW assassin guide, venom could be deadly. Why? well, its the biggest source of psn dmg in under a second (0.4 to be exact) This could be potentially lethal... very fast damage, especially at high levels.

The other thing we know is that in 1.10 assassins have the uhh... ability to kick. There are 3 kicks total, talon, tail, and flight. Now, for the most part, talon is like zeal..., tail is like a fireball with KB, and flight teles and kicks.

In this guide, the 2 that i like best are talon (main attk) and flight (duel purposes?) The kick skills can also be combined with cb, ds, etc, etc.
The last thing that i realized with this kicker, is that although the dmg isnt shown on the screen... venom applies to it O_O

So... anyone think this is a good idea? keep readin...


I have a basic skill/ stat distribution.

20 venom
1 BoS
20 Dragon talon
20 Dragon Flight
20 Pheonix strike (ill explain later)
pre-req's

stats- enough to use a scourge and/or heaviest item. (again, explain later)
dex- enough for max block (and good AR)
vit- rest
energy - do i need to say anything?

The item selection is mainly for a poor man, sooo... any of you rich basterds can redo it for richer ppl.

Helm - guilames face. good helm, gives the necessary cb and ds for this build to work. Can also use Gaze... the mana leech will come from here if you do.

armor - really anything works, i prefer shaft for the +to life and DR%. Duress JUST might work here.... cb and ow ^^

Gloves - Trangs. No substitute... the +25% more psn is godly ^^

belt - nos coil. The +to str will add to kick dmg (kick dmg is affected by dex and str on about hte same proportions i think) the extra ll is good too, with some throw in slow to control crowds.

boots - here is where we seperate the rich and poor... for this build, im using sand storm treks... the damage is something like 80-110, but any rich ppl can use Up'ed gores or (the ultimate) shadow dancers. they have iirc about 149 max kick dmg... very nice. Also, for low- mid level, use goblin toe for the extra CB... i have goblin toe battle boots in my stash as well.

shield - i like resists, so im using a mosers as of now, i have no clue what would really work here... perhaps a sanctuary (+20 dex = more dmg) or a SS (30 str)?

ammy - to max your deadly strike, i suggest a highlords, although if you wnat more dmg you can go with Cat's eye or even maras.

rings - rings with leech are good for pvm, which is the primary function of this build... i use a manald as of now, and of course, raven... adds AR, more dmg, and cnbf. Best ring here imo.

Charms - psn charms are possible, as the % form trangs affects it, also, lifers are good too if you want ot put mroe into str/dex, and like wise, stat charms for more vitality.

Now... the weapon!!! most important here... I have tried different ones, and form my perspective (poor man), these come to me as really nice:

(first choice) Black rune word scourge... 40 % CB, adds IAS (kick speed is only affected by wep IAS), very nice for maxing out CB nad such.

(second choice) 6-shael phase blade... yes, your attk speed becomes insane with this... it's almost scary imo... but yea, kick faster, kill faster, leech faster, etc. However, youll have ot get your CB from somewhere else.

(third choice) Shaele'd Jade Talon wrist sword... yea, not that great of a choice, but adds mana leech and 2 to shadow dis skills.... also has decent IAS and resists (what is it, like 50?) decent choice for poor ppl^^

EDIT: o yea, forgot about the pheonix strike. for the most part, Charge-up with taht while you cb everyone to death, and the finishing kick will be able to wipe out most of them. The rest of the points should be put into synergies (are there any?) for this skill. It's a good skill since it has all 3 elements... so youll have fire, lit, cold, psn, and physical dmg all in one attack ^^

Hmm....I like what I see for the most part. If I get richer, I'll attempt this build to see if it's viable. Also, any hopes for PvP on this char? Maybe you could have DF on right and DT or DC on the left.

I think it might have some potential... i think you could actually start out DF'in the hell out of someone... and then, like a zealot... click and watch them die ^^

for PvP purposes, i think you'd actually use the 6-shaeled phase blade... the 120% IAS makes you kick extremely fast, and you could throw in angelic combo to connect on more kicks ^^ The big thing is the poison tho... about 1000 psn from every kick, will usually take someone down in short time.




btw... just read the thread on the bard pally....

Lets see... Venom is every .4 seconds, right? So, you don't want an attack that will stack the poison if you use the Angelic Combo. I would say use a Bramble, Angelic Combo, a CoA, and a SS. Well, maybe a ss, I don't know what you'd use for a shield.

hmm? why not... i thought stack was atually pretty good...

and as for the shield, i think just anything with decent resists and good block fit the part :

-15% req SS is good, but i also prefer mosers (57% chance to clock with a possible 63 resists, 2 pdiamonds, or if you dual um the thing, +69 all res). Whistans is also a good candidate, you get more life by saving the dex to block with it. For low low levels you could use swordback hold... the thing is godly in classic and could have potential in xpac with 50% open wounds lol.

ok first off i have ( i should say have... she didn't last too long) an kicker. With this build you don't need ar (i had something around 30k ar with angelics) and if you just use a bartucs there is no need for ias. The reason why this is a horrid dueler is cuase she has shitty defense (mine had 2k) and you will be pwned by any melee char in .0009 seconds, though it don't do too bad vs casters. As for the boots... any magic myradion greaves will do for max kick damage.

Not much in vit, asn arent meant to tank, you have to keep on constantly dodge (not preferred for laggy comps) you put like 100~150 in vit, and rest in Dex

Because I have kicker in west that kicks hell baal very weelll, pvm of crouse.

Oh yea, and you need hell lot of -25% target def per hit things, you need tiger strike fast, or you wont kill.

Not a big kick sin user, but why would you max dragon flight? Anyone with any knowledge will just abuse the bug.

And plus, i said suggestions were ok, so if you wnated to remake the char you could.

That usually isn't a problem. With my old TS assassin, she could get 3 charges in hell in a second or so.

If by Zeal you mean Dragon Talon (whatever the kicks are), it's not.

melee chars will slaughter you before you can get the posion to work (yea, you die THAT fast)maxing dragon flight would be useful for just killing casters, nothing more pvp or pvm.

yup yup... this build is primarily for PvM, and also... to make this work in general you need the crushing blow, which i dont htink even affects characters that much anymore (correct me if im wrong)

and ty kao, i tried it out and with good IAS, one second... the DT after that was badazz ^____^

if this is PvM then just use dragion tail + tigerstrike and phenox strike to freeze enemys(the charge that makes "chaos icebolts")

Or your could be really cool and get a Holy Freeze Merc when you're level 1 and level him up to your level. That would make for some godly merc ownage.
