Erm, if you go a Dexazon fallens in normal can kill you. You can easily get good damage with charms, I'd say. Sacrificing that much Vitality will be the end of that Zon, thats for sure. I have a Bowazon, 345 Dex and 212 Vit, lvl 87. She has 1347 HP with charms, It's nice. DR will reduce damage but not enough to save your life I think.
Not even, 650 is good. If your using guided and multi you can stand far away and still be able to kill things. I wouldn't worry about the range, it won't be a problem.
I normally don't add more than 100 in Vit just because most items/charms/etc can give you enough life to help you. You can get more from items than stat points if you use the right gear. You want as much damage as you can deal...the only thing you really need to worry about as a zon is magic projectiles like those stupid ghosts that shoot the lightning at you...stuff like that.
