Get a Might merc instead, they work much better for you. A point in Clay Golem should be enough.

1 point in all the golems is worthless, seeing as how only the base points count towards synergies.

if you use any golems put at least 5 lvls into golem mastery because at only lvl 5 it doubles all the golems life

i actually put only one point cuz with +skills item it will ezily pass 5

If you're using skeles you shouldn't need a golem with tons of life, so just use iron golem for the thorns along with a might merc.
