Ok, I'm confused about the skill trees for a sorc. Take the cold tree for instance. In order to take frozen orb, must I take the Frozen Nova, Blizzard Path, plus the Ice Bolt, Ice Blast, Glacial Spike path as well, or just one or the other?
It means that you must have at least one point as prerequisites in ice bolt, ice blast, glacial spike, frost nova *and* blizzard before you can have frozen orb in the cold skill tree. It's the same thing if you want to reach meteor in fire skills. One strategy that I generally use is to try saving points for higher skills so that you don't waste points on unnecessary skills.
Hope it helps.

basicly, you start from the top, and you follow the lines(between each of the skill's box thingies) to the ability you want. But, skills take a certain level to obtain!!
