Preface:
This is a Sorc Guide! In PvP it works very well and does amount of Damage!

Ok, here is how she's built:

The Sorc starts with the following Attributes:
Stength: 10
Dexterity: 25
Vitality: 10
Energy: 35


Per Level-Up she gets:
+1 Life
+1 Stamina
+2 Mana


The Attributes are having the following Effect:
1 Point in Vitality gives 2 Life
1 Point in Vitality gives 1 Stamina
1 Point in Energy gives 2 Mana

Icebolt: Max (Synergy)
Iceblast: 1 (Passage Skill)
Glacial Spike: 1 (Passage Skill)
Frost Nova: 1 (Passage Skill)
Blizzard: 1 (Passage Skill)
Frozen Orb: Max (Attack-Skill - Left Click)
Frozen Armor: 1 (Passage Skill)
Shiver Armor: 1 (Cast before every Duel!)

Helmet: Nightwings Veil socked 5/5 Cold Rbf ( 2 Skills, +% Cold Damage, Dex )

Armor: Skin of the Vipermagi sock Um or Perfect Skull ( +1 Skill, FC, Resistances )

Weapon1: Death's Fathom sock 5/5 Cold Facette ( +3 Skills, FC, +% Cold Damage, Resistances )

Weapon2: Wizzard Spike ( For Teleport: Mana, FC, Regenerates Mana )

Shield1: Runeword Sanctuary/ Lidless Wall ( Both Shields are good, it´s your Decision )

Shield2: Whistans Guard socked Eld Rune ( Blockshield )

Gloves: Magefist/Frostburn (I prefer Frostburn: Much Mana )

Boots: Waterwalk (Dex, Life, +5% to Max Fire Resistances)

Belt: Spiderweb Sash (Mana, +1 Skill , FC)

Amulet: Tal Rashas Adjudication ( +2 Skills, Life, Mana, Lightning Resistances )

Rings: 2 Sojs ( Skills, Mana, Increased Mana)

Inventory
1*3: 8x Coldskillers + Life,
2x Coldskillers + 12 Fhr

1*1: 9x Life/Mana Sc´s
Annihilus

That´s how my Sorc is built, she makes 1400 Damage with Orb and kills the most Enemys with 1 Orb

looks like ur pretty standard build, nice work, only a couple suggestions ...if ur a little more wealthy u may wanna replace the maji with COH or enig, and mayb the deaths fathom for a doom axe. same deal with the shield replace with SS

Well, u need the FC of Magi, cuz that i chose it
I also tried CoH and Magi works better for me.
I wrote about what my Ladder Sorc wears, u don´t have to wear all what I said, it´s just a Guide for players out there, which want to try a nice PvP Sorc
And why u think Doom Axe is better than Fathom? Fathom is the best Orb for a Cold-Sorc in my oppinion
But: Everyone has to chose his favourite Stuff and with what he´s dueling the best

oh no doubts its a really good orb, i just prefer doom cuz of the possible -60% to cold resistance, and the skills and finally cuz of the holy freeze aura even though its kinda pointless it just helps if things get too close and ur outa mana or wutnot. but mostly cuz of the - to enemy resistance. its more of a dueling item though

Well, you should put like selections of gears instead of one per areas, and put explanantion why they are good, and if they are better than anything else, and where to find them mostly, because not many ppl are rich enough to buy stuff like that

And how about rest of the points to warmth?

There is allready enough -cold res from cold mastery, you dont need more from doom. Hoto is best i think.

I'd sugggest keeping base Energy and screwing Thunderstorm, considering it is just such a waste now. Put at least10 points into warmth, get teleport, no static (unless you will go PvM sometimes), and max out a cold armor. That will increase your defense so much that when those barbs or pallies teleport right to you, you can get a chance to teleport away.

For Gear, I'd go with as much +skills as possible. Try for 1k+ Orb Damage, for it will rape anything except Absorbers.

If a Shako adds more damage or almost enough, go shako instead. It has MUCH better all around bonuses. For the shield, get a Stormshield or a 75% Blocking shield at least- so when you do get it, you hopefully won't die instantly.

Hoto is nice, Death's is nice, Wiz is nice and Doom. They all work well, and I think you should ALWAYS have them in your stash to switch versus opponents.

Versus Pallies I would use Doom, because they will probably use Salvation against your. Other sorcs, go with Wiz. Barbs go with Doom / Hoto, and for Necro's (Poison) go with Wiz/Deaths.

Also, if you can teleport well, and know what to do, don't bother getting Energy Shield. If you are good enough, you shouldn't be able to be hit, and with a high enough Warmth Level (without skills), your mana should be constantly full.

ummm... energy shield is sick... i dont know what your talking about... i've seen an energy shield/blizz sorc that owned everything, everytime, she could take on all the minions without healing in hell, a full game, and i think she was something like lvl 83
