I was wondering if say a pally with holy shock swung at an opponent and missed if the elemental dmg from the shock would still actually hit the person he is dueling. So like the pally missed with the melee attack but the actual ligth dmg added to his attack still hit the other player.
The reason i asked this was that a person could make a charger with a holy shock or freeze or fire aura and not have to worry about missing the other char because of too low ar.
I know this i kinda newbish but if i made a charger that used the holy shock aura i might not hit the person but the light dmg would. this would be awesome if it did. it would be like ignore target defense or something. A charge that hits every time.
yes it would, because the holy shock still attacks even when the pally is not attacking, so if you miss, the elemental dmg will do cause dmg, but i have not dueled with a shock pally to prove this, but i see no reason why the elemental dmg would not still attack the oppentant, hope this helps
i thought you were mistaken when yopu said holy shock. holy shock is an aura and work even if you just stand there doing nothing (it is like the sorcs thunder storm). so yes it would work but i wouldnt make a pally with it, it does crap damage.
