i have been playing diablo 2 lod for a good while - off and on - and there is one spot i can not get past on my own it is the fight with diablo - i get beat down every time i fight him and i can not make a dent in his life bar i have asked for some help in finding his weakness but i either get a smart-ass remark saying to hitting him (noo! really?)or they do not answer or they do not know does anyone know the best strategy for a single player to kill diablo? i typically use a necromancer

and if anyone has a problem with my use of (smart-ass) please! grow up will you? it is so sickening to hear everyone wimping out and all any help will be appreciated and hopefully usefull (depending on if i have enough skill at this game)

why do u play by urself? do u play on bnet?
obvously if u play on bnet, get a into a party and kill him.

of u solo it, what uh... type of necro are u making?

tell us more. we know absolutely nothing about your character so we can't help you yet.

level, skills, stats, we need to now more before we can help you. this isn't a side scroller game where you just have to jump behind the boss and hit him in the back 4 times. depending on what your necro is like and what your making him into will depend on how to kill him.

your on 1.10 right?

Well...stop using a necro and start using a sorc with orb/lighting....other then that.....I need to know about your necro.

i use a necro because of the ability to create one's own party and because i am stubborn
what i need is diablo's weakness (if any)

i play by myself cause everyone else wants to duel and is WAY AHEAD of my current state also diablo has to be able to be defeated by one person - why else make a fifth act?


my current necro i am trying to distrube the skill points evenly to all skills - it is a tactic i have not tried

thats a bad Idea because one good spell is better than a bunch of crappy ones, I suggest making a large party of revived and iron maiden him.... but thts just me..

... wrong... that will barely work. it doens't matter if it has up till now. your screwed in the higher difficulties.

diablo has no weaknesses. you must simply pound on him with your strongest skill. if that doesn't work, get stronger. if you can't get stronger, your screwed. remake your necro and focus on on thing. trying to distribute all your skill points evenly won't work.
