Please Enlighten Me

I am really curious why I see so many people opting to use ETH BoTD CB over ETH BoTD Zerk.

I have been looking at both base items and as far as I can tell the only thing the CB gains over the zerk is a small amount of min damage.

Berserker Axe
1 Hand Damage: 24 to 71 (47.5 Avg)
Lvl: 64
Str: 138
Dex: 59
Range: 3
Durability: 26
Sockets: 6
Base Speed: [0]
Ama, Asn, B, D, N, P - Fast
S - Normal

Colossus Blade
1 Hand Damage: 25 to 65 (45 Avg)
2 Hand Damage: 58 to 115 (86.5 Avg)
Lvl: 63
Str: 189
Dex: 110
Range: 3
Durability: 50
Sockets: 6
Base Speed: [5]
Ama, Asn, B, P - Fast
D, N, S - Normal

By those values the only thing the CB takes over the Zerk is the Durabality (whoopity fuggin doo) and 1 more min damage. The people I am refering to are not using them 2 handed either so that isn't the case.... besides if you're going 2 hand a BoTD it should be an ETH War Pike.

The Zerk is faster, has more max damage, less reqs, same range and yet for some reason all the barbs I see want a CB. I even see people in the channels saying "My ETH BoTD Zerk for your ETH BoTD CB"

So I would be most grateful if some one would tell me what I am missing in this equation.

On East they are going for the same rate, and I see people trading them straight across all the time. If it was cheaper to get a CB then you would see people say "MY Eth Zerk BoTD for your Eth CB BoTD +"

Because people are sheep, they don't think, and they just like swords for some reason.

I suppose fashion factor wont hurt in this case, the difference between the two when added to a BOTD arent going to mean the difference between life and death in a duel, but I am a perfectionist and I would use the Zerk over the CB any day of the week.

I don't care if my gear makes me look like a pink smurf... because when people get owned... then they were owned by a pink smurf and that just makes it that much more hilarious.

most barbs seem to be accustomed to using swords. besides, a sword looks better than an axe imo, and thats a small factor in trade values.
