PvM Light Sorc Help Pls

O k, I have been in the PvM scene for quite some time and have really only been comfortable with using a Hdin. I'm one of the moderators of Clan Chx, for those of you who don't know what/who that is, it's a channel that is devoted to the task of leveling your characters from levels 6-60. Now being a moderator, of course you are looked up to, they say "hey he's a moderator, he should be a God at chaosing." Well, like I said, I use a Hdin, but it's beginning to not be enough. While I'm doing around 4-5 minute runs, I see the other runners doing 3-4 minute runs with their light sorcs.

Now this pisses me off. I was once prized with being one of the best our channel has seen. But now, I need to be that once again. So, the whole point of this thread is to get feedback on how to build the ultimate Baal/Chaos sorc out there. I will tell you, I have tried before. Whether it be lack of skill or lack of gear, I have failed. So, here is the gear that has been stowed upon me to use (your feedback is absolutely necessary).

Helmet:Either Shako (Umed) 2/20/(various mods, such as STR+Life/2 OS) or the highest Griffens Eye I can afford (-5/5 Die Facet)

Armor:Either Chains of Honor or V-Maji (Umed/Upped)

Amulet:Maras (25+ Res) or 3 Light Skills/100 Life or also 2 Light skills(20 FCR/STR/RES)

Weap1:Heart of the Oak (38+ Res) , Highest light Eschutas (-5/5 Die facet)

Shield1: Storm Shield (shael, giving me high res boost with high DR) , 35 FCR Spirit Mon

Gloves:Mages (of course)

Boots:Treks (15/15)

Ring1oj (skills, mana reg)

Ring2:10 FCR/20 STR/Various mods

Weap2:CTA no brainer there

Shield2pirit also for bo

Inv-

GC's:Light Skillers(20+ Life)

LC:16/16+ S-torch

SC's:20 Lifers/5 Res

Merc-(The all important factor in the success in a chaos/baal light sorc)

Helmet:Andy's (STR+)

Armor:Fort (Eth/glitched 4k+ Def) , Treachery RW (Fade skill, says no thanks to curses)

Weap1: Infinity (CA/CV) High Convinction aura

Stats-

Str:Enough for gear

Dex:Base/ or 75% MB

Vita:Enough for 1k HP

Energy:Rest

Skills-

1 Telek, 1 Tele, 1 ES, 20 CB, 1 Static, 20 Nova(max last), 20 Light, 20 CL, 20 Light Mast

Tell me the flaws in this guide so I can better myself once again. My old merc died with 1 hit IM. I need to be able to withstand multiple hits with IM, so my whole game doesn't die. Feed back, Please.

As a light sorc with most of the gear above, I would recommend using a **** polearm to put the infinity in. That way your merc won't do enough damage to kill himself. You'll be the one doing all the work anyways.

At the moment, I am level 93 doing a little over 25k/11k.

Helm: ptopaz shako (working on getting an um rune, that is the only thing stopping me from max res)
Armor: 14ed ap coh
Weapon: 3/19light eschutas (no facet yet)
Shield: Spirit Monarch
Belt: Tgods (the light absorb, +10% max res, 20 str (needed for my monarch) and 20 vit come in handy)
Gloves: Random rare gloves with +str, life, and fire res (needed because spirit doesn't give fire res)
Boots: eth treks
Rings: I switch between dwarf star, raven frost, natures peace, nagel, etc depending on what I'm doing.
Ammy: Rare 2sorc, 20str, life, mana, fire res
Switch Weapon: 6/5/1 eth flail cta (self rolled, )
Switch Shield: Low spirit monarch for boing.

Anni, Sorc Torch.

Merc
Armor: Pretty high levi I found (47str, 23dr)
Helm: Vamp Gaze
Weapon: eth cv Infinity (my only regret is during chaos runs, if my merc gets IM'd, I have to tele back and kill them before he attacks them and dies)


Other than chaos (which I don't do too often) I can solo anything on my own. Its just what I need for key running/baaling, which is what I do at the moment.
