Character Sound files

anyone have or know where i ca nget all the sound files of the characters from LOD, not the NPCs just the playable ones?

Get MPQ viewer.
Do into, its either, D2sfx or D2Speech.

You can extract the raw sound files from that.

hmm i cant seem to find any of the act 5 sound files? are they not included or are they somewhere else. they werent in the speech file.

Try checking the expansion mpq file not the regular file

i did. but in the EXp file everything is labelled unkown.. the regular speech file was clearly labelled.

Try using this MPQ Editor, this should allow you to see and read everything properly that is packed into the games MPQ files.

hmm that second MPQ editor cant view the d2xtalk file.

and the first one shows up as unknown, but if i cross reference with the d2speech file i should be able to figure it out, it seems to be ordered in the same way.
