Yes, both games have been updated to work with Windows Vista, as I have been running them on Vista for the last couple months or so with no problems. The Windows Vista platform is just an updated XP platform, so most updated games should work with no real problems.

Vista is a whole new operations system. Made from the ground up.
Its not a updated XP in anyway.

It should run just fine in it's own as long as you have the latest patches and updates offered by Battle.net when you first login to the client. If you have any other issues while running the game in Windows Vista than you can always check 3 thing's to make sure your game play is smooth.

1.) Run your video test, and make sure nothing fails.
2.) Right click on the program icon and set permissions to Administrator.
3.) Right click, properties, compatability, and set it for XPSP2.

With those steps in mind you should have no problems running it at all.

That's still in debate Zoltar, I have no knowledge do discredit that fact or prove, I am only going on when I was beta testing it, the first boot screen and boot info used was Windows XP, and not Vista, eventually they took out all the boot info and the boot screen during beta testing, and made it all blank. So my only conclusion is to say that they were building off of the XP platform while making this version.

Just like XP was built off the framework of Windows 2000/Me, and how Windows 2000/Me was built off Windows NT and 98 respectively, Vista has been built off the XP platform.

It's not your system, after some research it seems several people are having this same issue with the black constantly looking like they have lost or did loose connection. This seems to be an issue with the Video Cards and they are working diligently with manufactures to fix this problem. They only ask that people with this problem bare with them while they try to rectify this issue. My only suggestion is to try again when you get your desktop, or update your video drivers from the manufactures site and make sure they are vista compatible. Windows Update for Vista does not support outside verndor drivers ATM the manufactures are working on their own, Windows supplies default drivers that are only meant to run and initiate the card. Or you could always revert back to XP.

I'd really upgrade that video card.. If you got a decent 128 or 256mb video card, your notebook should be able to run almost any game currently
