Yeah, Paladins even have some of the best BP out of everyone. It's really kind of pathetic.

A well made hammerdin can kill everything pvm, and smiters can wipe the walls pvp.

Well, you need to afford stuff like Hoto, Enigma and whatever else Hammerdins use these days, so it's definately not a poor persons class. ;D

There's Smiters who are just amazing at Ubers and PvP
There's Zealdins who are just amazing at ubers and PvP
and Hammerdins who are just amazing at PvM and PvP

Paladins Rule!

paladins are best if everyone you're dueling has average gear. druids and barbs are best imo.

Agreed Greg. They are so overplayed I just tend to stick to the other classes...

Hammerdins aren't so much. Blessed hammer is unaffected by enemy magic resists/immunes if they are a demon or undead, which is nearly all of them. The few that aren't undead/demon & magic immune you can teleport past, or just avoid altogether (as they are in Act3, mostly).

Greg just doesn't play them because he only plays female chars.

Magic hammer will damage any monster, even if it is magic immune and not a demon/undead. The only monster that is immune to a magic hammer is a monster with both "magic immune" and "beast" properties. They are located deep into hell act 3.

The reasons that paladins are "overplayed" is that they outperform another character in nearly every single way, with the exception of cowing perhaps, but even then, magic hammer is pretty effective in hell.
