| Starting Over
Well, I've been posting at BF for the last few months again, and all this talk has got me wanting to play D2 again.
NezMod sounds interesting, but it also sounds like there are only about 10 people who play it, and at intermittant times. Not to mention I can't find my classic CDs, so I wouldn't be able to reinstall D2 to get it back to 1.10 anyways.
So I figured I start out on a realm. I want to see who plays where, and on which realm you think it'd be easiest to get started on. Once we get that all established, I'd ask someone for a Sigons set/Khalims will or whatever and go from there.
Any suggestions?

| Ladder is always fun. But if you do find your CD's, me/hellwolf are on NezMod almost everyday. Same with Dragnskull when he's home. You are right though, we need more people to play it. =D |

| I'll consider east ladder. I lean towards east because that's where I played back in the day with Jason and co. Jim can you hook me up with starter gear?
And DM, why doesn't someone create a separate realm for NezMod?

| Yeah, but Im thinking whether I want ladder or not. My previous experience tells me that its easier to get free items on non-ladder because people have all their chars from the old versions/previous ladders.

| You could get the 1.10 system files for Nez Mod from Shados, or (If you can't contact him) myself. I'd be happy to, but since I'm on dial-up...

| pff, even BFH has changed his name now... am I the only one left with my original name? lmao.
It sounds like a ton of work on Nezmod when char levels go into the hundreds, or do you gain levels faster?

| There are higher level areas, but you start to get this massive EXP gain penalty based on level...

| Well, on average (this depends how many exp shrines you find, your class, etc etc) you will be around level 60-70 when you get to nightmare. So yeah, the experience gained is a lot higher but they had to rework the exp system to balance exp gain at all levels, from level 1 to level 750. I do suggest trying it though. =) | |
