A sorc rusher

I made a sorc rusher, shes lvl 62 right now, but what should i put my stats and skill points into to make a good sorc rusher?

Planning to rush in nm or hell?

If nm, pick any main skill - max it and its synergies (I'd say go fireball or chain lightning or orb or blizz). Gear that grants you max res, decent amount of life, and some +skills will be fine. Nm is e-zay for a sorc. I'd say go lightning tab, cuz + to lightning skill items will make your tele cheap. Some fcr is needed there too.
str = depends on gear
dex = none (don't need block in nm)
life = all after you figure out str
energy = none (mana from gear and/or insight merc)

If hell, stats and skills won't cut it. You'd really need some "godly" gear for certain areas.

does orb actually do dmg? I might choose that... if it doesnt do that good of dmg, ill make it blizzard

orb does great dmg, but not as much as blizz the only reason why u would choose orb over blizz is cuz orb moves around and makes it easy to attack dispersed groups like those oompa loompa mages in act five shooting flaming cones of peanut brittle at you.

blizz does mass dmg but is a stationary attack so you'll be casting blizz after blizz doing 1000's of dmg but the monster would usually walk through or around it (if they can make it that far)

Blizzard and Meteor are good powerful skills but they have a limited attack and slow cast rate, going with a faster spell, Ice Bolt/Orb, Fireball, Lightning/Chain Lit will make you much faster and more effective.

if u don't have good resistance or defense, i'd choose orb. it'll slow the enemy so u can just move out of the way and keep firing.
