i need help with uber smiter

I want to make a smiter to use when doing the uber bosses. can someone help me with a complete build that will work well for doing this...armor weapons skills and everything if you can please...thanks

well first of all for skills u want
20 smite (max first)
20 fanatism (max 2nd)
20 holy shield (max 3rd)
thats bascally all but max defeince for synergie of holy shied
then just put points anywhere (i put mine vigor n one redemtion.

skills
as always enough str for gear
for a smiter u want max block at all times (with a exile if your ubering)
so get it to max block then jsut keep putting 2 points init to keep it at lvl 75 i havnt got the info n wat max blocked is out as in how many points needed)

smite isnt a mana costly skill (i have lvl 24 smite that only cost 2 mana so energy base.
the rest vit.

as for gear this is wat i used in my trist (i had help from my friends ik barb i only really needed the bo)
the first time i did it i had crap gear so i wont post that up.
i used:
shako (um)
gores
dracs
P CoH. in a archon plate (i think its better than nigma myself but i assum u could use that if u want)
tgods
raven frost n drawf star
mahim oak
Eth Exile in a vortex (must if your doing ubers n your a smiter)
n i had to use wizspike cause i cannot afford a grief yet but best wep to use is a grief.

Nigma isnt needed for doing ubers as trist is rather small, you *MIGHT* want one if you are going totally solo to find lillth and izzy but then you get into needing fcr to be effective. Otherwise stick with coh the 2 skills and resists will help you tons more than anything nigma has to offer for doing uber trist.

Shako --- good for life/mana
Gores --- Crushing blow
Dracs --- Life Tap
Coh --- Use this, doesnt have to be a AP, any coh is fine.
Tgods -- Id go with dungos instead
Raven -- That or a BK
Dwarf -- Raven or BK, dwarf not needed IMO
Curio -- Try for a seraphs even a +2/+1 pretty cheap
Exile -- Highly reccomended, can be done with others but by far the best.
Weap -- I prefer last wish over grief for life tap and cb but if you can't
afford either find a 3os mace with some mods and put the "black" runeword
in it, for an uber cheap cb weapon.

Skills:
His build is great, although I would reccomend using a couple spare points in salvation to combat meph's conviction. I normally go in (bo if you can) turn on salvation, then head right to meph. He goes down ez and the other 2 surround you, once hes dead switch to fanat and take out the other two. With them all surrounding you you should have plenty of life tap firing off keeping your health nice and high.

Just beware of bone prison and wraiths, nothing worse than killing everything around you finding yourself trapped inside a bone prison then getting killed by ranged attacks before you can break out! (:

Enigma sux Vs Ubers... Its hard Enough to get Res without the res from the Armor.. If you need a Cheaper armor than Coh then go for Smoke, Nef - Lum, in a 2 sox armor= can it get Cheaper o.o? and for a Nother Shield Option, Then 3 P dia Griswold Shield give more than 100 all res.. and its not that Expencive...

Hey...how much damage do you guys do when you are fighting the ubers? because right now while im leveling i dont do too much damage...but then again im only level 18 cause i have had like no time to play this week. Is my damage gunna improve greatly after i get higher levels? or does a smiter just depend on life leech and the fact that smite never misses to kill the bosses?

i do around 980-1.4k or something with that setup but thats without any charms of any sorts sojs/bk or mana or any +skills ive only got wat i got from items (i got a sh!ty zon torch) but, when u get grief ull be getting around 30-40 ias so in dueling ull be attacking twice before u get one hit in, smiters arnt naturally high dmg lvls. they take along time to kill but they barly die with the set up i used the only time i die is by iron maiden, n strong phisical immunes

The way you kill the Ubers with Smite is the Crusing Blow... It remove 10% of the Uber boss'es current life... And when you never miss it goes Pretty Quickly... The smite dmg itself, are allmost only for the Life Tap leech to work good, and for killing the Prime Evil off. (When They got Low Hp The Crusing Blow wont be that useful) ..

Right, Crushing blow is king when fighting bosses with thousands of hps, the smite damage is really irrelevant until they get low on life. I do 2100 ish smite damage with fanat aura on but its the crushing blow that does the majority of the work. Higher smite damage just makes finishing them off a little quicker.

You can do much less smite damage and still do fine killing the ubers with life tap and crushing blow.

dNiym is right i may only do around 900-1.4k dmg but the gores,dracs, exile does the job in ubers i only really die when i get surrounded by the monsters after killing diablo, but since i get meph first , if im soloing it i can easily get my bod back.

usually the real killer in there is getting bone prisoned or swarmed by mana leeching wraiths, if your attack gets slowed down from being out of mana you can die quite fast. Bone prison will get you because it seems to spring up without you knowing, once you kill everything you can leech from (life tap) archers and other ranged attacks kill you before you can break out of the bone prison!

dNiym...when you were talking about Last Wish a little earlier you mean the Phase Blade right? not that other huge sword you can put it in right?
