Where to magic find?

Where do you guys mf? I run pindle and meph, I haven't find any good items yet, I don't mf very much but i do around 20 runs sometimes when I got nothing to do and I got 4xx% mf. The best items i've found are worth about pul. Solo hell baalruns any good for mf?

Mf everywhere. Kill everything. Then you will find items.

i'd suggest you mf at andy, meph, and pindle since you're probably a sorc. if you're a fire sorc you may want to try eldrich and shenk as well.

get enough good gear to suit up a hammerdin and start mfing at almost every boss you can think of (ie diablo and baal)

btw, do your runs in hell difficulty

The Pit in the blask marsh has yielded much to me, it has a high area drop level. A friend of mine found a BK ring in there on a MF run once, among some other harder-to-find treasures (Mara's for example)

I think the Pit is in the Tamoe Highlands. And, yes, it's a great place for mf.

right now all i do is meph, ive slowly been building up for a hammerdin though (i have about 6-8 hr's worth of shit now, im going to trade it all off, including the gear on mys orc, to geta hammerdin going)

once i get the hammerdin done, i will be doing the followign:

Andy
Meph
Diablo
Baal
Pindle
Countess
Trav
Pit

hammerdin + might merc = pwnage, not to mention ill have around 300-350 mf, so i should be finding good gear byt hen.

Well, Magic finding is all about luck, I used to mf all day long when i started... But the more wealth i got the less i mfed.. But more Runs = More chance to get Good items... Also Magic find % Only increase the chance of getting a Good item a little..
Lets say some Monster got 0,00001 Chance to drop some item, 100% mf Would make that chance 0,00002 ... Not very much... So luck is important.. As for where to Mf: Hell is the best Place, cus there drop the best items with the highest chance...

I would say some of the best places to mf would be:
Baal, Mephisto, Andy, Pindle, Shenk + Endlich (Or what the hell that dude close to shenk is called..), Countress (Runes+ Terror Keys) and The Pits in Tamoe Highlands can be good too..

A good way to get to the Pits is go to Outer Cloyster wp (Or what the hell its called) and then follow the Road into Tamoe Highlands, when the Road split up in 2, one of the ways go'es to The pits..

The Pit drops ALOT of superior elite armors/weapons with sockets. I've found tons of good things from the pits, and can't say anything bad about them. They are great. I've found a 37ed/15ias jewel, 4 socket 15ed elites, skill charms, and more.

Another great place is pindle, since it only takes a minute to go to and kill him. He drops good stuff.

When I had my hammerdin, I did meph, countess, pits, and andy. I did baal too if I was doing it manually, otherwise I used d2jsp. The good old days :/. In case you noticed, I couldn't do pindleskin on my hammerdin, I accidently talked to whatsherface and the portal closed. I did pindle on my blizzard sorc, which worked out well.
