D2items skill calculator lies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it lies. It says that my necro should do 8k damage at where i am at now but i only do 4k bone spirit and spear. So can anyone tell me where to find a site that doesn't lie.

As for your question, im not too sure,just go by head, and estimate.

Are you adding your + to all skills to every stat or on top of the skill tree. Because that adds on to the synergy if you do it wrong. That is where you are probably getting your error.

its probably user error.

your probably adding too many hard points to your skills, rather then using the seperate "+ to skills" selection. remember that you can only have a max of 20 hard points into anyskill. everything else should be added separately, because adding hard points screws up the synergies, giving you impossible damage values.

if this isn't the problem, could you explain it a bit better? tells us the exact ammounts of your putting into each skill on the planner.

and jim morrison, since we have a link to this exact skill planner in the strat + tactics stickie in the strat + tactics board, is it really considered advertising? just wondering.

ok i have 43 skillz to bone spear, spirit, and wall. I have like 25-35 skillz into teeth and bone prison. I just added the skillz into the calculator and it says i should do about 8k bone spirit damage but i don't. i do 4k damage.

+skills do not add synergy bounus... only the base skill(lvl 20) that's why.

Anything above 20 is not put into the skill itself rather it is put under the + to skills area by the tree tap.

how do you guys get these 4k dmg, 10k dmg, blah blah blah? mine only says 382-407 or something like that.

+ to skills. If you max out a skill (lvl 20) and have + to skills on gear or charms you will have your skill max lvl higher. You could be able to get skills up to 40+ if you have right gear.

that still doesnt explain why you guys talkin about 4k damage and 8k dmg and w/e... I went to the site that talks about adding skill points and stuff but it shows the same info as in-game.
