perming runes

is the only way to perm runes to upgrade them to the next tier? and is there any way to tell if they are duped besides them disapearing when you enter the next game?

Do you have to put the Rune into the trade window and close it, or just open a trade window and close it?

if you have a duped rune, you could socket it into a item, but then you will loose the item if you ever unsocket. If this is done you will perm the rune.

No, you are way off. You don't get anything extra. It just makes it so that rune does not disappear on you for being "fake".
