help > no bhammer pala build

i used to play d2 some time ago and back in the 1.09 i had a zealot paladin (fana+zeal and hshield) . i really liked that char. now im trying to start playing d2 again but i cant find any pala build ohter than bhammer. i know hdin are powerfull but the fact is that i dont like him. I played pala b/c i didnt like casters (i had sorc/ bonenecro b4 and i hate them... hmm, ok the sorc i like her a little), and now my dear paladin became one of them. I saw a build with h freeze and synergies + loads of crushin blow. i tryed it out on single (editing the char of course -no one goes legit on single-) and thought it seems to work good even on hell with /players 8 i actually dont like it. now plz could you peeps help me out with a good melee pala build ?

Zelots are fun, Avenger's (Vengeance and Conviction) are a good to.

I used a Paladin back on 1.09 single player too, and I think the build you're looking for is the same one I used. 20 points in each: Zeal, Sacrifice. 13-15 points in Holy Freeze, As many points as possible in Holy Shield, and at least one point in Salvation for Hell resists (although toggling holy freeze off sucks big time, sometimes you got to). I carried it through Hell (no /players 8) completely legit. The best two mercs for this build are the Act II merc with Might or a Act I with Cold arrow. Figure out who suits your needs best. (Act II merc = slightly more potentially useful but slightly more dumb)
