New Patch

Hey, I just loaded the game and got a quick patch when I logged on. The file must be small, it downloaded in less than a second.

Is this related to Warden? Any news?

Edit: Micah at BNet stickied the following fixes that now appear in the patchlog in my dII folder.

Yeah, I just went to log on and it said "Downloading Patch" and i was like O.o thinking maybe my computer screwed something up during a system cleanup or something.
Any news concerning this would be appreciated, although I do suppose it's just a update to prevent maphack.
EDIT:Nvrmnd, I missed the part where you listed their changes...Hey, didn't they claim to have fixed Peace in .11a already?

It appears that most, if not all hacks have been disabled by the new patch, including Mouse's MH. Patching 2 minor problems, my ear! Look's like it will be an interesting period of cat-and-mouse (pun not intended) between BNet and the hacking community for the foreseeable future.

It's really dumb when they bother this much about hacks on a game thats gone to hell and back with dupes alone.

Thats the whole point.. To stop the dupes.. I think they are doing a mighty fine job.. Its cool to play legitly.. :huggles

Except dupes are still just as abundant as ever =/
If it was to stop dupes, they could just run a sweep I'm sure to take out any items with identical ids since each item recieves a unique id when it drops and dupes carry the same identification as the original.

thats why most only dupes runes and then upgrade them, i also think an item get a new id if/when you upgrade them..
