| cow or durance?
if i were to go and try to find HR or deccent runes like um, mal, ist etc. would i have a better chance at durance cause of all the chest and stuff or cows? |

| Countess.. Countess doesnt drop HR alot.. The whole point of running countess is to upgrade the low runes she drops like.. Ral, Thul, Tal, Ort, Etc.. Those runes into higher ones.. I found a Ko just now in one of meph treasure chest.. I almost missed it too.. I thought it was an another stamina potion.. God I miss MH.. MH would have made the text gold..

| You fail to recognize he also mention decent runes. I found an um at countess. Isn't that descent - especially since he listed it? You can also get keys which can either get you an LC or be sold for items. Its a win win situation. | |

| Hell countess.
Back in the day of JspBot + No r/d for making games to fast I was pulling in +4 Ist runes a day.

| Countess by far drops the most runes, up to Ist. Infact, for high runes, you're best CHANCES would be to gather ists from countess and transmute them into high runes.. countess drops ists and below that often. Besides that, finding high runes is complete and utter luck... no one drops them frequently. | |

| if you dont want to do countess, then cow runs would most likely be your next best bet...

| i want to be good enough to memorize every map, in every place, so I dont even need mh... that would be so awesome.
i suggest trying to do countess... at the very least you have a chance of getting keys, and they are worth quite a bit on ladder I imagine.
