I Want To Get Back In Before The 30 Days are Up.....

I've read several different scenarios regarding CD keys and account closures, etc., etc....and I'm sort of a retard when it comes to this stuff.
So to be perfectly clear, is this what you do?

1.You have to either buy or provide a new cd key for your D2classic portion of the program.
2.Once you've un-installed everything, you would then need your new D2classic cdkey and re-install classic.
3.Next, re-install LOD with your old LOD cdkey as it is still good.
4.Now you should be able to log onto your accounts, except for accounts that say "This Account has Been Closed (8)"

Right? or is that all screwed up?
Sorry, but i have never logged onto D2 from a different computer than my own, and never had any other cdkeys than the ones that I got 2 yrs ago.

sech i do not know if that will work, it has always been my understanding that when playing LOD they ban both CD-keys (either permanent or 30 day).

up at the top, go to either user cp and then edit signiture, or u can go over the 'quick links' part and edit signiture...

when your at the edit signiture section delete the 'image' line (it has the [img] codes in it) its not that hard...


@topic, wouldn't it be much easier just to use a cdkey switcher/refiller? much simpler...

Not trying to plug the bnet forum, but Micah was saying that this ban is only on your Classic key. The LOD keys are still legit right now. Although, it is unknown that once the 30 days is up, if you'll get your original Classic key back, depends on your bnet violation record. I don't think I've violated any any of the rules, other than using easymap of course. I just don't want the 30 day ban to expire and still can't get on to battlenet. They sale trade-ins of d2c at a gaming store in the mall, I was gonna pick one up for 7.99. Better safe than sorry, ya know.

And... I hope that when the 30 days finishes, I can still play. When it comes to computers, everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. For me, anyway.
