How long are they valuable?

Everyone sees games with people buying and selling keys for an ist, or many ists (Destruction key). They are wanted like everything that is new. But for how long will they have a high value?

After the first hour of the patch bieng out, I sold a (Hate key) For a griffons helm (17/14). And profited about 15 more ists that night from selling keys. This morning I wake up and see (hate keys) value's already dropping. Went from an ist, to two um's. Sometimes only one um. Price already dropping.

(and yes I know destruction key costs more)

So after all that my question simply is, "How long untill these keys, brain, horn, eye's are worthless in trade" Or worth so little, they are hardly worth looking for.

Im guessing once there is a maphack out, The prices of keys will have a sudden decline.

My advice is sell everyone you find now while you can. In a few weeks once the new thing is not new anymore, go find your charms.

1.11 bots dont work. Who cares? I'v made so much more from selling keys in one day, Than I ever do Botting for a day. Too bad good things come to an end.



Also, Im wondering, Besides runes, what good items did you get in trade when selling Keys?

I give it 2 days. They'll be down to nothing, just like "Shae" runes when they first came out.

i dont think there goin to be worth as mucha s they were (ppl were trading runewords or a hr yesterday for one key)

but i do think theyll retain value, being they will allow you to get the new charm that bests anni...

In my opinion, they will still be a semi-decent trading item even after maphack comes out. People who are rich tend to get extremely lazy, so they would fork over decent to good items for the keys just to get another Hellfire Charm.

My Prediction is the keys are going to be meh, even destruction. One who holds all three body parts will be able to pull a pretty high price for all three at once. But right now keep selling! I saw an EBOTD offered for ANY key shortly after they started appearing, as well as lots of high runes being offered. Now like he says the keys have dropped alot in value.

I hope the keys remain high trade value. But my thought is they won't. They really aren't difficult to find. I use a nigmabarb to hit up those 3 and find a key every 15 minutes or so. That's not bad.

Trade value appeared to diminish last night, although I did get 3 PNB GCs for one terror key last night.

honostly just having a mf sorc that can do countess is all u need...cause then u can find terror keys...and trade tehm for the others.

Yes the key's worth has dropped a lot since it has first appeared.
It will keep its worth for 1 soj, because (Rich people = Lazy)Agreeing with DarkMatter(Poor People = Laborers)
Its like trading 9 Sojs for that sick ass LC.

the keys themselves will go down to probably um, maybe pul.

but all 3 together should get you an Ist.
