I'll write an entire guide for this later on, but a quick skill/stat/equip guide is what you guys need right now

This guide was written on the basis that you can afford the most expensive gear

Stats:
Strength: Just enough for gear (most str req. is your helm, CoA, which is 174)
Dexterity: Enough For Gear (you'll get enough from your anni and torch should give you enough if you really want to have max block) If you use a beserker axe you dont really need any dex because it requires, but if you use a phase blade it will require much more, u'll have enough for max block if you use it. I recommend the beserker axe so you can have maximum Vit
Vitality: With enigma, you will need very little strenght, and with a beserker axe, you will need very little dex. You will get a massive amount of vitality, roughly in the 430s or so at level 90.
Energy: Do you really need to hear it? BASE.

Gear:
Charms: http://img260.imageshack.us/img260/2...shot0222ab.jpg
Ring1: http://img190.imageshack.us/my.php?i...shot0211jf.jpg
Ring2: http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/7...enfrost6dd.jpg (didnt get a screenshot i guess :/)
Amulet: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/5...shot0201ok.jpg
Gloves: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/1...shot0193vy.jpg Look for 20ias w/ cb or fire/light resists
Weapon: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/9...shot0185nc.jpg
Sheild: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/9...shot0177fs.jpg
Helm: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/3...shot0168ty.jpg
Armor: http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/3...shot0152uv.jpg
Belt: No SS but use a good verdungos, my friends is a 37/13

All Screenshots other than "Ring2" were from my friend's smiter, he uses an rf though. He carries 9 offensive aura charms that have either life or attack rating mods. He has an anni and a paladin hellfire torch, with fine small charms of life and vita.

Skills:
20 smite (duh)
20 fanatcism
20 holy sheild
20 defiance
The rest is quite a bit of prequists and any other auras, put remaining points into charge if you like.

question about the exile, it says it reparis 1 durability in 4 secs...does that still work even if its eth? yo can u tell me if this type of build will work for soloing uber party?
oh and btw what about defiance? some guides u max it also

Stats:
Str: Enough for gear
Dex: Enough for max block
Vit: The rest
Energy: None

Skills:

Smite - max
Fanata- max
Holy shield - max
Defiance - max
Prayer - rest
1 pt into meditation: If you get low on health, switch to meditation, with prayer pumped, your life replenish will be around 70+

Gear:

Weapon: GRIEF!!! - Adds a lot of damage to smite, altough not shown on screen.. test it out. Beszerker axe is better for a 3 range

Armor: Fort: Great melee armor; Big def, HUGE damage and resist. Not to mention life/lvl. Enigma: Helps for using CoA due to str bonus but sacrifises some damage. I went with enigma

Helmet: CoA /w 2x bers..expensive, but the best

Shield: Upped hoz /w um/cham/ber or eth exile in elite paladin shield

Gloves: Draculs: Lifetap, str bonus, openwounds..

Belt: Verdungos: Huge Vita/DR. Replenish life is icing

Ring 1 : raven: use if you dont have CBF if you do, bk

Ring 2: Bk

Boots: Treks / Rare boots with resis to all elements and frw

Amulet: Maras: Skills/Stats/Resist

lol duh.com... i already listed all the gear...

with enigma, you will have massive amounts of vitality due to +str
with a zerker greif, you will have massive amounts of vitality due to low dex req.

I know this is an old thread...but my question relates to this topic.

In patch 1.11b does Grief still add the bonus to Smite? Lastly, does Smite get the bonus from crushing blow and deadly strike from weapons, helms, and boots? I read on the Summit that % chance to cast x spell off weapons works but it says nothing about crushing blow etc from weapons, helms, etc. If anyone knows, please reply. Thx.

i hear some people say grief no longer adds damage to smite (i dont play anymore though) but as for the CB/DS, im not too sure. i think CB works (thus the "CB Smiter" for Dclone) but im really nto sure about deadly strike :\

yes grief still gives the +to damage bonus for smite...i use a grief on my smiter, and yes it still works, although u cant see the added damage because it is bugged(or something like that).
as for CB,DS,OW...smite will deal damage from CB and OP...but not deadly strike
they mention it on arreat summit, it says wut smite receives bonuses from and what not

Just a few points:

Angelic Comcbo>BK+Highlords.
Steelrends>those gloves
Life sc's>those gc's.
Finally...
Eth carpance>that armor(unless your only using it to strength glitch).

Thanks for the replies guys. I had heard some peeps say Grief didn't add to Smite in the new patch...I'll try and get one and see. As for CB/OW on weap's adding to Smite, just wasn't sure since the weap isn't actually being used to deal damage...

Thanks for the input.

N's bitches qoute "Angelic Comcbo>BK+Highlords" thats rediculous lawl. smite =no AR and angelics blows other then that! also steelrends or the sux on smiter...no open wounds which really helps and tap...also life sc's also a horrid choice when u can add Pally Combat charms...not to mention eth carapace would be a HORRIBLE choice (str no +skillls and so on) my post > yours..no flaming intended

also people should consider fortitude runeword over enigma. not only adds damage but some other nice stats such as life res and cast cold armor
