i was just wondering, if somehow blizzard found out that som1s been using maphack trade hack or something, does blizzard ban ur account or the cd key?

Probably the CD-Key. They may also disable your account as well, making your copy of D2 virtually useless, as well as whatever effort you've put into your online account.

If Blizzard finds players using any kind of hack, they will ban the CD-key for long term results, otherwise they just do IP ban.

Blizzard isn't responsible for the bannings of CD-Keys, accounts, or IPs; Battle.net is. If you know B.net's past, you should know that they go on random account banning sprees. They banned a bunch of accounts including one of my mule accounts (-.-) on Judgement Day two years ago.

It's less than that BY far man.
I'd say more like 2%

The first and most obvious is don't tell anyone you USE it!!

2nd of all blizzard's online scaners look for this:

Repeatedly casting over large distances using scroll lock.
Repeatedly casting spells at targets through walls using infravision (before v4.7d).
Repeatedly casting iron golem on ground next to a hidden suitable item (before v4.7d).

I use Mousepad's V4.7, I've used it for a long time, If you're discreet you'll be all set.
