| Battleforums Diablo Mod
Hey guys. I have been discussing this with a few mod players.
We have the stuff we need to do it, we just need help.
We are looking for people who have any experience in modding. Or have any ideas.
Most of us have no idea what we are doing and just need to do some research.
Let us know so we can organize this. |

| If it involved C++ to the fullest extreme. I could probably help you if I figure out how one thing is done.

| No C++. It involves editing and modifying table strings and such in txt files opened up in D2Excel.
Variables, parameters, calculations, states, various obscure codes and fields some of which don't even seem to actually DO anything...
It's pretty damn complex, really. Items are one thing I can do without too much trouble. | |

| It looks like this is going to have to be a 1.10 mod. Most info about making mods isnt for 1.11.
Chris, some things involve editing DLL code. Which, like C++ is confusing as hell.

| If we end up with very many people helping, an overall BF set may not be the best idea, but I'm prepared to design specific members' uniques or sets...I already know of a Vadriel set I'll be doing, so why not others? | |

| I use to provide my services at a fee for private server modding back in the day, haven't touched it since 1.11 though I am sure it's nothing I can't overcome. Never saw a need for D2 modding once I started WOW, I just moved onto addon making.
