Before this board was cleaned out, I posted a plan I had for a two hand sword barb.

Then I find it funny that most of the guys are like "Where is your sheild, you are gonna be screwed with no or a low block rate?"

Then I defied them and built a 2 hand sword barb named Ookamizu-sama.

The funny thing?
His AR is 6427 with all buffs (enabling me to almost 95% any monster in normal, nm and the early ones in hell). 4800+ Defense with all buffs, 2870 Life with all buffs, and over 50-70 in Damage Reductions without the use of SoS (Improves it by 107).

Plus, my Osbane Katana unique enables me to do into the 4000s in damage.
Not bad for a Level 97.

So screw you my old nezmodders who doubted me. I now laugh at your inactivity .

That sounds like a pretty sick two-handed sword you got there.

Just make sure you have tons of life and fhr since you will not be blocking.

barbs use 2 handed swords as a 1 handed sword, especially katanas, so why not just use a shield with it?

Does tons more damage wielded as a 2handed weapon than a one handed.

The hell? There is a Two Hand Damage > One Hand Damage. I can use 2 handed weapons well if I have enough FHR, Defense, Life Leech, MDR, and DR.

I also have Zeal and my AR is now over 10000. Plus my Defense with Shout is almost 6000, anbd still rising with every point in Shout/Iron Skin.

If you are going to do a Polearm Barb. You should try to get a Baptist Soul somewhere in there besides the Greater Hell Spawn soul.

hince ONE HANDED, not Sword and shield :P, i think you should use soulreaver and put a perf tanz in it or something that gives hella good mods

Yeah, I was thinking of that. But there is an Ultima Weapon, which offers a zeal that does bonus damage based on my remaining life.
