Help me with my Diablo II LoD latency probs!

so, everytime i play LoD it is soo slow.. i don't know why tho..
my internet works normally but LoD doesn't.

the problems is like this: everytime i pick up an item or i'm trying to
talk with any NPC there is, it takes like 15 seconds before there is
any kind of an action... and that's annoying.

so if anyone got any kind of methods to remove my problem,
i'm glad to hear it.

sounds like connection issues to me, but just because you say your net works fine:

what are your system specs? though i doubt this is the cause.

also, what kind of internet are you using (dialup, DSL, cable, and if you know, your DL speed would be great)

Do you have wireless connection?

When I had wireless that's exactly what was happening to me, everything ran well except Diablo, now I'm wired, so I run fine.

Its connection problems.

If you type fps or /fps in game. It will display your Ping and Framerate, for debugging purposes. Should this number be greater than 300 or 400, you may have problems.

Should you be using wireless. Connect a wire to your PC and feed off that. If you are using a modem, its about time you upgraded your internet.

It very well could be a slow cd-rom thats the only lag i ever get is my cd-rom. But mine isnt so bad but for some it can be a killer.
