LordNevar's Dupe Method

1) Bring the character you want to dupe into a game. Call this guy 'A'.
2) Using Zoid's anit-idle, make that character idle in game for 8+ hours. *** DO NOT MOVE THIS CHARACTER, NOT EVEN ONE PIXEL ***
You can move the mouse, but not the guy.
3) After 8+ hours, leaving the original character in game, log onto that account and that character. Call this guy 'B'.
4) Bring B into a new game.
5) Log onto another character, call this guy 'C'.
6) Have B drop all his crap, and C picks it up.
7) B and C log off.
8) Go back to A. Move him around, talk to NPC's. Should get C/I, R/D.

its the same thing, except 8 hours instead of 10. I say blizzard has patched this so that if you anti-idle for an infinite amount of time, b.net never 'loses track' of you.

they dont lose track of you; what they do in cases where they see the person idleing for an extensive amount of time is ban them...

just a question but what is a +3 summoning skills for necro ammy worth i just got it today on july 5th and i was wondering what it is worth. ok im going to test this outin 2 days..(set up anti-idle...go to sleep for 10-12 hours..wake up and do the dupe thingy)

im just wondering if no map hack programs must be used or u can use mh or c3po? im not going to but im just curious.

also with the idling...must u use an anti-idle program or can u use other methods? if so what other methods can u se?

also wats theis portal thingy (blocked portal or whatever it is)? also any effect on what act ur in/diff ur in?

all im going to attempt to dupe is a few mid level runes that i can afford to loose (a few fals/kos/lems) so if it fails VERY badly all ive lost is a nights worth of botting really and nothing more.

any help or pointers would be greatly apprecated

Ok sorry for unearthing this thread again... but for anyone interested, I can verify this dupe today March 7th, 2006 ... that it does in fact work ... and can be very very profitable in the long run

Considering I was the one that founded this, and knows the exact steps to get this to work; I can sucessfully say that yes it does still work but there's been quite a few modifications to the entire method. The time frame has been trimmed down to about 10 min tops now, and requires the help of 2 other people including yourself. The last posted directions to this no longer work as bnet has fixed some of the steps that were used. If you can figure it out than by all means be my guest, but there will be no directions posted to this from me, and do not PM me asking for them you will not get them. When I first released this on Blizzhackers every mod on there almost confirmed this method, and yet everyone called me liar.
