Major Newb needs Major Help

Can nebody help me?!....i dled the d2 hackit file and the anim8-1.0 and joined a game and ran the loader in the file and typed .load anim8 and nothing happend i typed .list and nothing happened so i dont think my d2 hackit is working correctly....what am i doin wrong?....

First, don't double post. Second, when working with stuff, try it in single player to make sure it works, and the readme does have information that you need. Plus there are stickies that have the information that your seeking.

ok but i think d2hackit isnt working or working like its supposed to....the anim8 readme tells you how to load it, and it didnt work

I haven't used d2hackit, but since the commands are preappended with '.' I assume its a plugin for the loader. I have an issue with the onleyers(sp?) loader in LOD 1.10 where any command i.e. '.blah' does not execute... Infact, nothing happens at all. Not sure how to fix this, and I haven't looked into any information on correcting it. But for what I use it for(maphack, zpicket) I dont really need the commands at the moment anyhow.

But just so you know, I'm having issues too. When I get around to figuring out the problem I'll post any additional information here for future reference.

i have a feeling that you cant just dl it and then it works, i think theres something more but the hackit readme just says to open a d2 game and open the loader so if nebody knows what to do plz help

Use the read me and use all the fallowing programs, it works when you read

ON TOPIC: (so sweaty doesnt crucify me)

get d2hackit from a legit place.
make sure your pickit magicchar is set to something else like ":" so it doesnt interefere with d2hi commands.

is it ok to have the d2hackit files in a My Documents folder or does it have to be in a diablo folder and how do i make sure my "pickit magicchar is set to something else like ":" so it doesnt interefere with d2hi commands"?

Did you put the anim8 file into teh plugin?
and i think you have to click on the Load button after diablo starts :P

uhh i dont think i have a plug in....all i got is what came in the d2hackit package...

tell me then: where did you download d2hackit?

I think Mewgood.coms stuff is full with trojins. Scan your computer and download Hackit from a legit site.

well where did you get yours at?....what are some legit sites cause this is the only one ive seen with the files...(that i sumwhat trust,or did, anyways)
