Problem with d2loader

I've got a problem with d2loader (I downloaded from the sticky "BNetHacking Sticky - 1.10"). Maybe it happened to you or know what's wrong.

I installed D2 and patched it. Then I replaced the Diablo II.exe with the one in the .zip. Everything is ok until I try to join or create a game (both in single and multiplayer). Diablo II closes and then an error pops up, saying something like "It seems we have a big problem here!". It's titled "Hey dude!".
The same happens if I install the expansion, patch it and replace with the loader

Please if you know if I have done something wrong tell me.

EDIT: Oh. I forgot saying that I copied the MPQs in the Diablo II root directory. The ones I have are: d2char, d2data, d2exp, d2music, d2sfx, d2speech, 2dvideo, d2xmusic, d2xtalk, d2xvideo, patch_d2, play2d and setup. As I said some lines before, if someone can help me please do

EDIT2: Nobody answers :/ In the readme it says "support Win9x,Nt & 2k." Does this mean that if I use WinXP I can't use it?

Enity: Nothing happens if I press - For me, it only crashes when I enter a game.

Starfish: It tried doing what you said, but nothing has changed. I still have exactly the same error

Hmm I supose this is dumb, but just in case...could it be because the game language? Does someone here have a translated version of the game with the loader (and it's all working)?

1. did you copy d2xvideo.mpq and d2xmusic.mpq from the diablo II LOD disc?

2. do you get the error EVERY time you try to play or just SOME times?
