Jamella problems

i am having problems with the jamella editor i just dl'ed it and it wouldnt let me open any chars files it said there was a corrupt field encounterd in save game file so i red some posts on here on how to fix it....but i made a new char with nothing on it just what it startts off with and i tried to open it with jamella and it said the corrupt field encounterd thing whats going on and how do i fix it? THX

Jamella isn't for 1.10 use Hero Editor instead.

Actually MioM, I'm having the exact same problem, and I'm using Diablo II with the LoD Expansion and 1.09 patch, battle chest version though, might be some difference.

well Lucinate, do you get a popup before the corrupt field popup, saying "JM Signature not found" and then the corrupt field popup reads "Corrupt field encountered in save game file! (@ offset 2402)"? something wierd is going on, hope someone can help you, unless you do have 1.10

when using jamella if u die u need to pik your body up b4 u open jamella. if u cant pik it up then u have to delete it. 2nd if u make a new character get it to lvl 2 then save it. at lvl1 there r not enough save files to open jamella on it.

Jamella is very Buggy in 109 and simply doesnt work in 1.10

the current editor is Zonfires hero editor version 0.82 which handles 1.09 and 1.10 file types available at http://www.ladderhall.com

The error you are getting in Jamella is caused by using non Jamella created items in other words items you picked up in game most of which will cause the editor to bug out
