changing character colors

how would i go about changing my grizzly from brown, to white or black, and when im in werewolf form having my color of fur be a light grey?

If you could help me out or point me in the right direction id appreciate it.

Hmm, well do something like StarFish's B2D patch. Just replace the clientside images. I have no clue how to use C++ and all that stuff so your best bet would be to ask StarFish for some help.

If he's not too busy and you get lucky he might help you.

just get thirteen's mod making package (dont remember where, ill look when i get home) and you can get the editor and blahblahblah, ez stuff.....or you can ask fishy how he does it.

Recoloring animated files like bears/chars is really hard and takes alot of time, you could download pre-made animations instead, any animation can be replaced with any animation, really simply to do it, check out my mod if you want to see some examples. Instead of making your werewolf grey you could turn him into any monster from D1/D2 or many many other games like Baldurs Gate.

Instead of recoloring the animation you can simply recolor the items a char is wearing by txt-editing, really easy. (like Gaze/Leviathan, they are both blue in my mod, looks cool with dual-lightsabres ) almosot any color is possible (like making Tals Armor green instead of purple).

Yes of course.

The only server side colours you can make your bear is blue or green (frozen or poisoned). With 1.1 you can make an item on open that makes you constantly frozen or poisoned using nv states.
