| Bugged Hellforge hammer? I was just talking on a private IRC channel where a guy told me about a bugged hellforge hammer that causes you to drop all your equipment, if you pick it up.. Does anyone know about this? Is this old or what? Rumor?

| If there is its an item on open only. Dont worry about it on the realms. There were bugged charms on open so im pretty sure you can make bugged anything on open. (By bugged, I mean the poppin items, or whatever)

| They can and do. It has something to do with buffer overflow by using an asci character over 256 in the name of the item or something. Once you get that, you can then put in a snipplet of code to be executed or something. Search back and find the post. They may not all make you drop your items...but some **** the character up and drop from the game. Ive heard a lot about the dropping items part too tho.

| Andrew, if someone can enter your computer through like, say an d MSN chat room and shut it down from the inside without you even dling nething, then it's PERFECTLY possible to cause something like that in a game, ESPECIALLY on open where hacks and suchare allowed.

| Let me just say this:
-Move this to goddamn discussion
-Quest items cannot be bugged probly, therefore some1 could've only used Hell Forge hammer's Graphics just because it looks cool.

| Uh no... they had items like this and I was one of the lucky people to see one in action on USEast Softcore... wasn't a hammer, it was WF, but it did make the guy who grabbed drop every item on his body like a 'body pop' on .09 |
