maphack question

Hi I was wondering how safe it is to use a maphack (will I get my CD-Key/account banned) and if so what maphack should i use? I am of course reffering to closed b-net. Thanks!!!

I dont know anyone who's been banned for using maphack, and just about everyone in USwest hardcore uses it, so I assume it's pretty safe. I use one I got off of evergame.com thats' just a crack of Mousepads maphack.

theres always a chance of getting banned but its very miniscule

You'll most likely get banned by Blizzard with their yearly mass account/cdkey ban, so go ahead and use it while you still have your account/cdkey

It is undetectable as long as you do not scroll or look at other people's items. It isn't always detectable when you look at somebodies items, but if you are doing it over 100 times a day...

Blizzard makes a big deal of it, but its never usually a problem .. ive used if forever, and only know of one friend thats been banned so far

The question is: do you care about all the time you put into the game or account(s) and are you okay with losing things you have?

Many people who use it either do not care or are okay with losing their time / goods. Others feel its needed and still others think they will never get caught.

The fact is Bliz has threatened and thats a bit more than ominous to me. I choose to abstain.
