ive ben hearing a lot about this D2PS and heard it comes out dec 7 yadda yadda yadda, but i was wondering what site it will come out on? and will this be undetectable? because i dont get to spend a lot of time on d2 since school and work...

D2PS - Diablo II Player Simulator

Basically, it is the next JED or D2JSP. It was created by Cerb about....probably a week ago. He just started putting a team together (I am the lead programmer).

What makes this bot superior? It is and always will be 100% undetectable.

How so? It doesn't patch memory locations, it doesn't inject DLL's, and it doesn't send packets. It is based on AutoIt (written *so far* in VB6 and AutoIt v3 but may include some C++ stuff). It targets Diablo II and clicks. How does it know where to click? Well, as of now it will not be able to do hard stuff like Meph runs. It needs to do stuff that has the same patch. It can find stuff by finding pixals of certain colors (which is how the item-picking-up thing will work). It can find anything based on pixal color. The chicken-part of it monitors the current life though memory offsets. It just reads Diablo II offsets and keeps an eye on the life. If the life jumps below an amount, it exits the game. The whole thing is comprised of a couple of programs "talking" together to keep things going.

In all, it doesn't do anything detectable. It just clicks smartly. The only thing out of the ordinary is the stuff in it that reads the memory locations for information, however...nothing can detect that. It is just reading memory.

Cerb has been working on the main D2PS module which will do most of the work. I have been making the GUI, the potion user/getter, the chicken program (which just monitors life), and will probably end up doing more heh. We have other programmers in the team who will do stuff...that we haven't really decided on yet. Then we also have script writers who will write scripts.

In short, D2PS is a script parser, just like D2JSP and JED were. Although it will not be as powerful as those, it does not send any packets, patch memory locations or inject a DLL like Alex said.

All it does is retrieve pixel colors from the screen to pick up items, detect potions, detect NPCs and everything else.

This will not get anyone banned (except, as well, if they bot 24/7/365 on the same CD-Key/IP, Blizzard will start wondering things...). The bot is undetectable: it simulates a normal user, just as if you played by yourself.

Sweet thanks for da biggg long description there sounds convincing. ok 2 more questions

1) will this bot be able to run without a user watching/doing anything to the screen? if so, which bosses can u set it to kill?

2) when will it be out? and will it be public? or private for a while
(prefferably public unless i get it while its private :rollie )

1) they probably dunno sicne they are makin/plannin it now.

2) they say December 7, but i think it would b private so they can test out the bugs..

1) Nope, you'll need the D2 window maximized. I cannot set bosses to kill, this is a script parser, not a bot. However, scripts could make Shenk/Pindle/Eldritch and other bosses at stable locations easily
