Hackit Questions

Alright, complete d2 hackit noob. Ive DLed hackit v.81, extracted files, and tried to start loader.exe.

"Unable to find a patch location."

Well, thats koo... any suggestions? Basicly all I care about learning for now is the trade hack. Can this be done solo? And if so... do I need have have multiple clients running?

Flame all you want, but at least leave some usefull information while you're at it. Im not a programmer, but I have learned for other games in the past.

ok... goto www.mewgood.com d//l d2hackit. then get th3. Yes it can be done solo if you have 56k modem just reconect after you get droped. or you can just change your ip adress if you have cable. so it can be done solo, just takes a bit more time.

Okay, but Im still having the same problem. Says it cant find patch location. Ive extracted to my 'game fixes' folder, and Ive even tried to extract to the D2 folder. Still cant get the program loaded. What am I doing wrong?

Did you re-name your start up Diablo 2.exe? and tradfe hack doesnt work anymore, when i try it, i set an item, doprs me,i go back and immediatly it makes me drop the item i set so i have to risk loosing it

Yes, actually I use DLoader, its a no-CD fix. I have the CD... but seem to lag a lot more when starting up and when bosses die when the disk is in, so I prefer to not use it. I supose I could use Diablo 2.exe for trade hack if theres no other way around it. And Im sure theres a way to trade hack, cause someone just did it to me. I asked him to teach me how to do it, and he sent me to this site. Ive been franticly trying to figure it out for at least 3 hours. Id really like to get this working, PM me if you have to, but I need a chance to at least make back what I lost. >.<
