Attention all JED users:

Ok I was a JED freak because of it's ease of setup, but got really frustrated when I wanted to do multiple mobs etc.

First off i was in the boat of people that said d2jsp is too hard to set up.

I took 20 minutes last night and figured it out. Once you figure out how to download the new .32 version, its all downhill from there (for a sorc, i dont play any other classes with bots)

Now first off let me throw out some numbers for you JED folk:

Average MEPHISTO run... i.e. JUST killing mephisto with JED, it took me somewhere between 90 and 110 seconds if i left it on over night.

I now run d2jsp and will NEVER go back to JED again. my stats with d2jsp:

Kill MEPHISTO, COUNTESS, AND PINDLESKIN, average time over 200 games was 115 seconds.

For those of you who dont get it still: In the same time as it took jed to kill mephisto, d2jsp killed mephisto, pindleskin AND the countess. If I did ONLY pindle or Mephisto, it would be EVEN faster.

ADVICE: SWITCH NOW! switch over because JED does not have many people that write scripts for it and d2jsp has a whole page of them.

My two bits, feel free to comment.

It doesn't matter what one you use, dont force people to use a bot, let them decide..

JED will be changing it soon i bet, they might increase the speed maybe.

i use jsp i agree it's way faster then jed, and new version = easy to setup... but how do u do pindle / meph only? on the setupwizard should i choose multiple bosses script? then on the config tell it to not do baal / countess and whatever other bosses it does?

there is a section that looks like the following:

settings["quest_countess"] = true;
settings["countess_minions"] = false;
settings["quest_andy"] = false;
settings["quest_meph"] = true;
settings["quest_pindle"] = true;
settings["quest_pindle_minions"] = true;
settings["quest_zombies"] = false;
settings["quest_shenk"] = false;
settings["quest_baal"] = false;

set the ones to "false" that you dont want to run and you're set.
