*** UNCONFIRMED *** Full inventory lag dupe

This is in testing at Blizzhackers. Here is the thread: http://forums.blizzhackers.com/viewtopic.php?t=70042

Here is the method:

Please note the topic of this theread: *** UNCONFIRMED

It is supposed to have an approx. 25% chance of working. Here are the steps:

You need: Zon with poison javelin, Necro with bonewall/poison nova, a willing mule.

1) Zon/Necro/Mule all go into the same game.
2) Necro bone walls the hell out of the Blood Moore (sp?).
3) Zon poison javs the hell out of the bone walls. The necro also poison nova's the bone walls.
4) The combination of the two causes major server side lag. (we hope)
5) Once the mules ping hits a huge rate, somebody else logs into the mules account.
6) Select the char the mule is using.
7) Attempt to join the game the mule is in. You should get 'Failed to join'.
8) Keep trying to get in untill you get 'Game does not exist'. The game is now de-synched.
9) Mule outside of game makes a new game, drops all the stuff.
10) New mule picks up the stuff. Save and exit.

Congradulations! You have now done a full inventory dupe.

i would test this when i am not drunkk. i know that this would be a great way to lag the server, but unfortunatly i think that this only lags the client, which sucks.. this probably isnt a way to dupe. sorry

i might be new here, but no it causes stress on the server causing major lag, up to the 4000's in tests, at blizzhacker.com they have the screen shots in the topic like this. Yea this probably does cause pc lag but it also stresses the server, most probably calculating all the poison #'s

hmm... the 3 computers need to be ultimate gaming machines to outpower the server with high speed. when the mule gets lag, then you know its server side

i dont think that this can lag the server - notice when all the la dupes worked ?
when there were a couple of hunders/thousands of games in line if you tried to make one (because of bots.... ) now THAT lagged the server.... - a single game DOES NOT lag the server......
but go ahed and try if you want to maybe im wrong.. ^^

by lag the server we don't mean by internet bandwidth/speed.
the server assigns an amount of cpu to each game that should handle the normal functions of a game. the server lags when that limit reaches 100% + and cant do all the functions at the time they should be done.

that amount of cpu time is in proportion to the number of games running on that server......

besides, if you lag the server bandwidthwise it also shows on performance, and also when you if the server is lagged bandwithwise == it recieves too many packets to handle.....
