First statement, yes.

Second statement needs revision. Don't get the WP! I've killed Nilathak and been fine. The key is the warp point. You get it, the red port disappears (even before you kill that evil necro).

No, don't get the WP, save yourself the time!! Even a sorc hates to do that. That means wading though enemies with a lot more lag and it takes longer to Pindle MF. Think about it. It takes about a minute or less to kill Pindle going through the Red Portal. Now, from the WP a sorc takes at least 2 minutes (assuming you use mh) to get to where Pindle is. Any other char takes about 3 or so minutes for the same travel. Save youself the time and effort and take our advice.

yes killing nihal is a stupid thing to do, he doesent give you any thing good anyways,doing pindle runs does not require maphack, xcluding killing nihal

If you plan on running pindlebot you'll use the red portal. Besides, if you are planning on being an efficient pindle pwning machine, you'll want the red portal open. Just open it....Nithalak is a bitch. He might drop something good...(okay, I am lying)..and maybe you can score with Anya.

There really isnt anything diffrent from me (sorc) teleporting back vs just entering the red portal and going straight to him. If your going to count that extra 5 seconds from teleporting back then you have a serious problem with your adiction to this game.

BTW Doc: Your previous statement about the time it takes going back with a Sorc is obviously wrong.

I timed an MH user from nith wp to pindle, 45 SECONDS. I had pindle dead by the time he got there. Take my advice DON'T GET THE WP!!

Nith is also worthless. So, don't bother.

Going through the red portal and going backwards from the waypoint for me is only 5 second diffrence. If you consider 5 seconds to be a major problem in your little MF runs then by all means do what you want and have a good time making friends.
