The End of All Realm Downs

Why no-one has though of this before? I dont know.
The obvious answer is one word: PROXY!
I've been working on a little program for a while now that'll let you connect to a proxy and be "invisable" on bnet servers. That means if you ever get realm down, you just switch proxies and connect again. No more disconnecting/reconnecting for you dialup users, no more releasing/renewing for you cable users. Its just a click of your mouse!

It's in the testing stage but i've hit a wall. The only problem is: lack of proxies!
I search many hours on google looking for even one proxy that will allow the HTTP/1.0 method of connecting on ports other then 80 (HTTP/1.1). If anyone has a good proxy list (working, it wont work if the proxy doesnt exist ) that isnt public, meaning you or someone you know scanned it themselves, please pm me. Either that or reply to this thread and I'll get in touch with you.

Thanks and look forward to testing all you want without the threat of realm down!

I bet this sounds horribly ignorant... but what exactly is a Realm Down. I mean I know what it is.. I have seen it before, I mean what causes it, and seriously what is the point of it?

its a temporary ban on you IP address, usually caused by "unfair" gameplay. Sometimes happens randomly.

you need battle.net proxies to connect on port 6112. yours are port 80 proxies, mainly to crack websites

koritkkes right. i need proxies that use the http/1.0 connection method. if your not sure if yours are the right kind of proxies, try it out in mirc. if it works there, it will work with my program. if it doesnt, it wont.

and btw, i allready tried multiproxy. its for using http/1.1 (like your browser).

Thats not right... well, it might be, but the chances of everyone that plays in my city being banned is slim... It happened last night to everyone here in my city... Then, all i did was restart D2 and it worked perfectly fine!
