I was playing my necro last night just MFing a little and PKing and WHAM banned... CD key account and IP... I had only used the "full maphack" once ... is reveal map still safe?!?!

Reveal Act just reveals what the act has, and not any bonus features. You don't run the actual maphack on the game or Warden will pick it up.

Can't anyone play games without cheats? Of course they help you win games, but when you use them, it takes the fun out of games. That's why some people say their games are stupid, it's because they play games with cheats and it's to easy to win. If they actually disabled the cheats... they could have fun. I don't even use cheats.

That's the same with Map Hack, it's only making the game seem less fun. And besides, who goes into Battle.net and gets themselves' banned? Only the stupid kind of people that can't play a game right. That's why I like Closed Battle.net, you can't use cheats like map hack and the hero editor... it's better.

Yeah, but the only thing Maphack does is reveal a map, so you dont have to explore a map for 15 minutes trying to find the next floor. It doesn't necessarily rob the fun aspect of the game in any way. Except for when yo udont know whats ahead of you.

The way I see this whole cheating thing is only do it when you want to have "fun", after you beat the game legitimately.

Hell, half the players are ignorant online when it comes to third party programs and hacks. You can't protect a server from them, some people will still do it anyways. It is an inevitability.

As for this thread starter, Tupac and I have already said it: You aren't supposed to use the plugin module, you are supposed to Reveal Act.

Run the hackmap.exe or whatever, click options and then turn "auto reveal without iscan" on. Then push "reveal act" for each act (a1, alt tab, reveal act, a2 alt tab reveal act, etc). Plugins will get you banned for sure.

B.net has really evolved though, you can now get to 85 or so in less than 2 hours. I personally use RA 3.3 (Rhin's Assisstant). It is an autoteleport program, also has telepickit, autoaim, ilvl checker, autopots, etc. Works great.

The possiblities are nearly endless nowadays, most programs are written as Redvex plugins in AutoIt. You can make leech bots to instantly join your games, then programs such as "****" to follow you around, cast spells you want it to, or simply hang out in throne tp to leech exp. They now have meph, pindle, eld, schenk, trav bots for free, along with baal bots that (for right now) cost $25.

It is the power of coding. The Warden only detects known implementations of third party programs. If you can do something that is unique and isn't read by Warden, you can most certianly get away with it.

Hell, I ran D2Loader and MH 4.7j on the D2Maniacs Zy-el Server and I never got busted, mostly because the bot was decomissioned. And now the server .

You're telling me, there are programs such as TMC where you can edit your breakpoint tables to make you hit high breakpoints with virtually no fcr/fbr/ias/fhr/frw.

I believe Sony has also released Technology legally that prevents Warden from detecting your programs coming in or out.
