| Possible dupe? hapend to me.
I was in trading game, I had titans in mine, he had a boots and armor , I had enough room to fit both of them right next to each other in my invintory and I dont know what was his, but when the trade was accepted boots went in my invintory only, and titans went in his but I still had titans, he still had boots.
Neither of us was able to pick up the items. and I permed left came back it was gone, we traded again, same thing happend. The trade screen did close when this happend it didnt have either char sound when it cannot hold items.

| It's just a client-side image. This has been known for sometime, and was used in the making of many Trade Hacks.

What the OP referenced may* be TH. Not quite sure from the description. By the sound of it, this guy didn't drop from the game like the appropriate TradeHack result.
It could also be like something Dragn discovered in 1.10:
It definetly is a client side image, just has to do with trade array algorithms not working. Happens alot with multiple 2x2 items too. Some algorithms attempt to put the items side-by-side and some still try to put them on top of eachother (2x2 on top of 2x2). Conflicting conditions are the reasons for this bug.
Since it is only reproducible in some very specific occasions, it would be difficult to exploit this a trade glitch or hack, as the victim would need to set up thier inventory first.
There IS possibility though, if these client side images indicate possible inconsistency in the sorting algorithm, duplicate items may occur (may remain in trade buffer).
Now that I think about it this 'could' be exploited with the right tools and logic...

| This has been done before. I remember back in 1.10 - 1.11 this being an issue, not sure about before than or now, but it was definately known about. I don't think it was put into a module or turned into a TH per say, but it was definately reproductible and was exploited in some fashion. I just can't remember any specifics other than that it exsisted. People were trying to turn it into some kind of dupe if my memory serves me correctly.
