well i was reading the one stickied and was thinking...
wouldn't it be easier to completely block the realm server's ip using a firewall?
this would only allow the game server to exist and you wouldn't be listed on the realm as being online.
well yeah just a thought, but the guessing ip's is gonna be hard.
The realm server checks with the game server in the backend as to whether your char is in-use or not. Terminating the connection to the realm doesn't mark your character as being available.
